Keepsake White Tile Box

We all need keepsake boxes, but why not make it extra special by adding a picture or inspirational words to the cover. Our White Tile Box is great since it's already beautifully finished in black, and the white tile gives you a great space to personalize it.

For this project, we simply used Washi Tape with the heart pattern all around the cover, on the outer edge of the white tile. We had the picture printed on a clear sticker sheet (visit our Photo Imaging Center for this part). Then we peeled the picture and adhered it to the tile. Super easy, super cute!

Valentine Kids Craft Event

DIY: Photo in a Bottle Cap

There are so many ways to display your pictures. But in a bottle cap? Yes! and it's so easy to make!

Photo in a Bottle Cap

Our bottle caps are big enough (4" round) that you have plenty of space to put a picture. Simply trace the bottom part of the bottle cap onto your picture. Cut extra to fit inside the cap. You can use either double-sided tape or Mod Podge to adhere your picture inside the cap.

The bottle cap comes with a red ribbon for easy hanging, but we actually glued a magnet to the back too. Now you can display on any metal surface. Use our cute little easels if you prefer to display your project as you would a picture frame. Whatever way you use to display it, it will be a great hit with all your friends and family.

Our Personalized Photo Crystals are a great gift for Valentine's Day!

Bring your photo to our Photo Imaging Center in the back of our Ben Franklin Crafts and Frame Shop store in Monroe, WA. It can be on a cd, camera, flashdrive or as a hardcopy. Choose your crystal shape. We can resize your photo to fit the crystal. Prices vary per style of crystal. Record a special moment or day by adding a name, date or phrase to your crystal for only $1.99. We can also add vinyl, like the heart shape shown in the Valentine's Day model shown below, to the front of the crystal - for an additional fee. Vinyl shapes and words come custom or pre-cut.

3D Wall Hanging | Graphic 45 COUTURE Paper

Tracie is showing off Bonnie's latest creation! The Graphic 45 "Couture" paper collection is used in this project. Bonnie used flat canvas boards as the surface and used a 3D technique to make the characters stand out. Beautiful!

DIY "A Kiss A Day" Mason Jar

Tracy, in our Imaging Center, made this cute model which only required a mason jar, our valentine self-adhesive vinyl "A Kiss A Day Keeps The Doctor Away" and some delicious white Sixlets Candy. 

Everybody can make this! It's easy and quick to make in preparation for Valentine's Day!

This would be a great craft project for you guys! Your loved one would be so impressed to see this Mason Jar displayed somewhere for her to see a few days before Valentine's Day!

DIY Melted Crayon Art Bouquet onto Canvas

DIY Red Button Bracelet

Are you looking for a new unique bracelet for Valentine's Day? This would be a great addition to your jewelry collection.

DIY Red Button Bracelet by Jeff Proffit

Here's what you'll need to create this bracelet:

SUPPLIES:
1 - 22mm red shank button
20 size 11 pink seed beads
70 size 8 red seed beads
14 - 5mm metal heart beads (or any 5mm bead of your choice)
28 - 6mm crystal bicones
1 silver 2 strand clasp
8 - 2mm silver crimp beads
4 silver clamshell bead tips
30" Beadalon 49 strand bright stringing wire, .38mm

DIY Graphic 45 Dresser

Bonnie created another Graphic 45 masterpiece! The new paper line "Couture" is fantastic on this unfinished wood dresser. A simple 5" x 7" frame is a unique addition!

Amanda loves Bonnie's new masterpiece!

Bonnie painted the dresser with Copper Metallic Paint. Once that was dry, she used Mod Podge to glue the Graphic 45 Couture scrapbook paper to the front, back, top of the dresser, and the front of the drawers. Then, she used Mod Podge again to glue a narrow strip of paper to the front of the black frame. Once everything was dry, she glued the frame to the back of the dresser and reinforced it with brackets.

The first thing that typically comes to mind when seeing an unfinished wooden item is to paint it. Remember, the opportunities for creativity are endless so experiment with papers, fabrics, metals, and different textures.

Beading 101 - Free Class

We meet every Saturday! The class begins at 2 pm and will last 1 ½ - 2 hours depending on the number of students.

This is a FREE Beading class for all levels! It's a great time for beginners to try this very easy craft, jewelry making, without having to purchase all the tools and beads. And it's also a great time for more advanced beaders to make new pieces of jewelry.

Just purchase the $15 kit which includes everything you need to make a Bracelet & a Pair of Earrings, and we'll show you how to make it. The kit is available to purchase starting at noon the day of the class. Space and kits are limited so come in early to save your spot and buy your kit.

No need to pre-register. Just come in, buy the kit and be ready to start at 2:00 pm.
