Patriotic Craft Roundup

The weather this last week felt just like summer! So much so, that it had all of us dreaming about backyard bar-b-ques, family vacations and trips to the beach. Since one of our favorite summer holidays is the 4th of July we decided to round up a few patriotic crafts that you could easily make for your Memorial Weekend get-together.

Crafted by Bonnie
These paper starbursts are easy to make. We used the Martha Stewart Party Template (On Sale for $10, usually $14.99), some cardstock, Fast Grab tacky glue and some monofilament (fishing line).

Glitter cardstock is the secret to this project. We used one sheet of 12"x12" glitter cardstock, one sheet of blue polka dot paper and one 8.5" x 11" sheet of red glitter cardstock (for the letters). Cut the silver glitter cardstock to 5"x7" and the blue polka dot paper to 4"x6". Layer your background sheets and glue together, glue on the letters and pop back in the frames.

Americana Star
This star looks so nice it could be up all year round!
