DIY Voyage Beneath The Sea 3D Framed Art

Today's blog post is all about Graphic 45's new "Voyage Beneath the Sea" paper collection! As you can see, Bonnie has been busy creating one of her famous layered paper creations using the critters of the sea. The focal point is the melodic mermaid placed behind an acetate sheet that creates the illusion of water. Scroll down to see close-up pictures, her work is absolutely outstanding!

Here's what Graphic 45 has to say about their new paper collection:
"Melodic mermaids, whimsical octopus dames, Steampunk scuba divers, and more will greet you in this fun collection! This collection has 8 double-sided pages bursting with aquatic life. You will love the bright blues, corals, rich yellows and greens in this amazing new collection. Explore the wild, wild waves with Voyage Beneath the Sea!"

If you'd like to make a layered paper creation like Bonnie makes, don't hesitate to stop by her table where she'll be happy to show you. (You may want to call in advance to make sure she's there. Call 360-794-6745 ext. 0 and ask for her).

  1. Bonnie, is that a curved dome over the mermaid? If yes, where did you find such a thing? Thanks so much! Barb Flavin

    1. Hi Barb, it's actually an acetate sheet that creates the illusion of a dome. Pretty cool, right? :) ~ Ben Franklin Team

    2. Yes, it really is fantastic! I actually bought all the supplies (and a few more "undersea" embellishments), but I wanted to wait and find out about the dome before I started. Good to know it's just an acetate sheet. I sure wish your store was closer to me--you're about 2.5 hours driving time from me.
