DIY Buffalo Plaid Wood Ornament

Handmade ornaments are always a hit! Decorate our 2" wood block with paint, paper and woodsie trees (color the trees with Alcohol Ink). Screw in an eye hook and attach a ribbon to hang in the tree.

We used buffalo plaid paper which is really popular right now. Use Mod Podge to adhere the paper to the block after you have painted it a color that would match your paper. Use E6000 glue to tack the trees in place.

DIY Snow Globe

Fun & easy craft for kids! Use any figurine combined with our Buffalo Iridescent Snow Flakes and Glycerin to create a little wonderland in our plastic snow globe.

DIY Magnetic Calendar

We love this metal pre-printed calendar page because it allows you to move your magnet numbers from month to month therefore you can use the same page throughout the year!

Personalize some flat glass marbles with your favorite paper. We used Mod Podge to adhere the paper on the back of the marbles. Use a permanent marker to write the numbers on the front of the marbles. Once that's dry, glue a small magnet to the back of each marble. Frame the whole thing in a 12" x 12" Cooper Ridge frame and hang it on your wall!

DIY Gnome Lighted Shadowbox

Create your own version of our Gnome Lighted Shadowbox by using different paper to cover our pre-lit unfinished shadowbox. Paint the gnome with your own favorite colors to show your personality in your project.

We love this new product! It's a framed plexiglass! We painted this faux stained glass art on it using the Plaid Gallery Glass paint. Imagine all the possibilities!

A Simple way to Decorate a Lantern

You see lanterns everywhere and love them, but you're not sure how to incorporate one into your home decor? One thing to keep in mind is the size. Where will you display it? Should it be small to fit on a side table or even your desk. Or a big one that would go on the floor by the wood stove or on your patio?

We invite you to stop by our Ben Franklin Crafts store in Monroe, WA where you'll find lanterns in many sizes, shapes and colors.

DIY Spring Willow Wreath

We are all so anxious for spring to get here, even if there are no signs of it when we look outside and still see patches of snow on the ground. But the good news is that there's no rule against bringing spring inside with a beautiful wreath that you made!

We just received more willow wreaths. Those have been so popular! Our customers love them to hang as they are (since they're already so pretty), or to decorate (like we did below). Either way, it's a winner!

Add your favorite floral picks and greenery to a willow wreath for a simple rustic spring decoration! Add a bow to finish it off!
