  3. Where do you get a heat gun??

    1. You can purchase a heat gun at most craft, hobby and hardware stores. A hair dryer might work for this too - just make sure you test the settings on the crayons beforehand to make sure you know how fast the crayon will melt.

  5. what age group did you do this with? I am looking for activities for toddlers/preschoolers

    1. Christina, I wouldn't recommend this specific project for toddlers. Using the heat gun might be a little dangerous for kids that small. There is a fun crayon project you could do with the kids: heat rocks in the oven and the kids can draw onto them with crayons. The wax melts onto the rock and they end up looking like they've been painted.

  6. This project was so easy to make. It turned out perfect. I used a blow dryer to melt crayons since I don't have a heat gun. I was surprised how quickly the crayons melted.
