DIY Graphic 45 Couture Paper Frame

For all our Graphic 45 paper lovers, here's a great Do-It-Yourself Project! Use an unfinished wood frame as your canvas and create a stunning collage of Graphic 45 Couture Collection pieces!

Here are the supplies you'll need:
1- 12 x 12 Unfinished Wood Frame
1- Light Foliage Green Acrylic Paint
1 Sheet of Graphic 45 Paper "Stunning - Couture Collection"
1 Sheet of Graphic 45 Paper "Gorgeous - Couture Collection"
3 Sheets of Graphic 45 Paper "Beautiful - Couture Collection"
1- 8.5 x 11 Sheer Black Paper
1- Pack of Blue Petaloo Flowers
1- Pack of Self-Adhesive 3-D Foam Squares
1- Foam Brush
1- Scissors
1- Ruler
1- Mod Podge
1- Hot Glue Gun
1- Pack of Black Paper Bloom Flowers
1- Peacock Feather
1- 1/2 Yard Green Ribbon

Instructions:
Take your unfinished wood 12" x 12" frame and paint it with your acrylic paint. Allow to dry before moving on to the next step.

When dry, apply a thin coat of Mod Podge to the back of your 12" x 12" Graphic 45 paper to adhere inside your frame. Allow to dry completely, then add a top coat of Mod Podge to the paper to seal.

Measure and cut strips of paper to adhere around the frame. Allow to dry. Then add a coat of Mod Podge on top to seal it down.

Now you will start adding your layers. Cut out the six squares (leaving the ladies on them) and adhere to the frame with your Self-Adhesive 3-D Foam Squares. This will raise the squares to level one.

Use 3-D foams to create the layers.

Take a new 12" x 12" sheet and cut out each lady completely and attach it to the frame directly over each matching picture. Use your 3-D foams to raise the ladies to level two.

Now on your last sheet (Beautiful) paper, cut out desired pieces of each lady to accentuate the individual outfits - such as a hat, collar, fan, or shoulder. Use your 3-D foams and adhere them directly on top of the picture to make your final level three.

Create the fans with sheer black paper

Now take your sheer black paper and cut four 1.5 x 11 inch strips. Score each one and fold back and forth. Fan out and use your hot glue to hold it into place and glue to the frame.

Last, you can add all your embellishments (flowers, gems, peacock feather, ribbon and die cuts) to your frame by using your hot glue gun to adhere them. Allow to dry completely and now you are ready to display your beautiful art piece.
