DIY String Art Washington State Pallet Board

Have you tried making String Art yet? This art form from the 70's is back and we have the supplies you'll need to get started. You can use any surface in which you can hammer in some nails. We have the pallet board (shown below), wood plaques, wood blocks, MDF boards, and more! We also have nails, strings in different colors and yarn if you prefer a thicker look.  You can free hand your design or trace a pattern on a piece of paper that you'll nail to the surface. Remove the pattern after all your nails are in place.

Our unfinished pallet board measures 16" x 16" and is $19.99. One thing that we've seen over and over on Pinterest is the "state" string art like the one shown in the model below.  Give it a try, you'll be surprised at how easy it is! Click HERE for a video tutorial by Katherout to help you get started.

Use string or yarn to create your String Art

If you don't want to go through the process of nailing your design, check out these trendy wooden planks already adorned with icons and pegs. They are from Cosmo Cricket and are ready for you to start wrapping your string or yarn. Now available at our Ben Franklin Crafts store in Monroe, WA.
