DIY Fall "HOME" Wood Letter Set

We have to admit that unfinished wooden letters are pretty boring by themselves. But what a great surface for crafting! There are so many possible ways to decorate them. Using a collage technique using Mod Podge Medium to glue photos or decorative paper is a great way to decorate them, or simply painting them is also great, but we thought we'd give this project a completely different twist.

We used our fun Wood Log Slices, Fall Wooden Shapes (which include owl, pumpkin, maple leaf & hedgehog) with a coordinating Woven Yarn to decorate the letters. There's no right or wrong way to do this. You can always refer to our picture for guidance if you wish to glue items in the same place as we did. Once done, we placed the HOME letters in our Natural Wood Tray which is a perfect size to hold all 4 letters. We added what was left of the wood shapes in the tray around the letters for a final touch of fall colors.
