We glued scrapbooking paper to 3 of the slats. Simply put your sheet of paper on top of the heart and use a craft knife to cut the paper shapes. Apply Mod Podge on the wood slats and also to the back of the paper. Place the paper on the palette. You have a little bit of time to position it before it dries. We applied another coat of Mod Podge on top of the paper to seal it and protect it.
Use your favorite glue to attach the chipboard "Family" connected word onto the heart. That's it! Your heart decoration is ready to display!
Here's the unfinished pallet heart. As you can see, it's beautiful without anything added to it. So if you don't have time to mod podge scrapbook paper on it, just use it this way. You can place flowers around it, or even add a red ribbon for a more Valentine's Day look.
You can apply a self-adhesive vinyl quote to add a personal message for your loved one. We do "custom" vinyl cutting. Come in to speak with one of the specialists in our Imaging Center. They'll be happy to help you with your project.
