DIY I Believe Wood Box Christmas Tree

Have you seen our new selection of triangle unfinished wood boxes? They are so cool! You can stack them to create a unique pyramid display. This example shows you a simple but stunning "tree" structure perfect for Christmas. It even has a light at the top and a star to top it off.

Paint the boxes with your favorite holiday colors. Let dry. This step is optional, but we also glued decorative paper inside the larger box using Mod Podge. Add artificial snow, and add any of our miniature figurines, trees, and houses to your project to create a personalized Christmas village arrangement. Apply the "I Believe" vinyl (easy how-to instructions available here) once the paint is dry. Of course, don't forget to add a battery-operated tealight on the top level, and glue the metal star to the top.

Use a candlestick holder to give height to your project.  Paint the candlestick holder and the tray to match your boxes. It can be the same color, or an accent color. Glue the candlestick holder to the bottom box, and to the inside of the tray to make sure it's secure. The glue that we like to use is the Crafter's Pick or E6000 Glue.
