DIY Mom's Herb Garden

This min herb garden would be such a great gift for mom, but it doesn't need to be for mom, it can be for anyone! Just change the name on the chalkboard to call out the person that will receive this adorable gift!

Here's what you'll need:
- Mason jars
- Americana Decor Chalky Finish Paint (pink) (SALE $6.97, reg. $8.99. Sale ends May 13, 2018.)
- Foam brushes
- Stain of your choice
- Sand paper
- 4.5" x 13" unfinished wood crate (SALE $6.97, reg. $9.99. Sale ends May 13, 2018.)
- Mini chalkboard frame
- Chalk or chalk pen
- Soil
- Herbs of your choice
- E6000 Glue

Instruction:
1. Paint the mason jars with the pink chalky finish paint. Let dry. When it's completely dry, slightly rub the sanding paper over the Ball letters to reveal the letters and to give it a distressed look.

2. Add the soil in the jar about half way. Add the herb plants, then fill up with more soil. Water your new plants when needed.

3. Use the foam brush to apply the stain on the unfinished wood crate. (follow the manufacturer's instructions on the jar). Let dry completely.

4. Paint the frame of the chalkboard frame. Let dry. Once it's dry, use the chalk pen to write Mom's Herb Garden or whatever text you want!

5. Now it's time to put your garden together! Use the E6000 glue to adhere the chalkboard frame to the crate. Place the herb jars in the crate. Voila! it's ready to display in your home, or give as a Mother's Day gift!
