How to Make a No-Sew Tutu using Tulle

Making tutu skirts has never been easier! No sewing is needed! You could even have the kids help you make them! These are great for young girls but are also great for adults. Show your support to your favorite sports team by wearing a tutu skirt in the team's colors at their next game!

You'll need to buy crochet elastic for the waist band in the color that will match your tulle. We have a great selection to choose from. (scroll down to see a picture of our selection). We also have a huge selection of tulle. Cut your tulle in the appropriate length (cut the tulle twice as long as you want the finished length to be).

To attach each piece of tulle to the band, fold each piece in half and bunch the folded end to create a loop. Insert the loop in a hole on the band. Then slide the other ends inside the loop and pull to tighten. Watch the video for more details: https://youtu.be/C6bm5wlor7g! When you start the video, pay attention to Katie Lynn's outfit. She made it for her mother, but thought it was very appropriate for the recording of this video.

As you can see, it would be easy to make a tutu for the holidays, parties, or just because your little girl loves tutus!
