How to Create a Hawk Stained Glass Block

First thing you may think when you see today's blog post is "this is nothing new, why would I waste time reading this?". But you may actually don't remember how fun this technique is! Gallery Glass ® Window Color™ by Plaid Enterprises simulates the look of cathedral stained glass on glass, mirrors, and more. It's also perfect for creating colorful reusable window clings, glass art accents and seasonal decor.

If you're a big Seahawks fan like we are, you'll love this fun Hawk Stained Glass Block that we created with the Gallery Glass paint. (use our model for drawing your own design). Create the shape of the hawk to the front of the glass block with leading lines. Fill in the design with green, blue and white Gallery Glass paint. Use a pin to pop air bubbles. (follow manufacturer's instructions for best result). Allow to dry overnight. Insert a battery-operated string of lights into the block and turn on for a glowing look!
