Sign the kids up for Summer Craft Camps at Ben Franklin!

We're happy to announce that we will have Kids Craft Camps again this summer for kids grades K-6th. It's best to register early to save your space and to help us prepare. You can register your kids for the entire week, or for single days. Below we have listed the week options, but if you're interested in single days only, click here to check out the full list. Full week sessions may be canceled if minimums are not met, so please sign up early.

• Mon. July 14 - Fri. July 18 (10am - 1pm) - Sign up now
"Air". Is your child curious about the sky? In this session kids will make things that fly, create rainbows, and play with reflections in a kaleidoscope they make themselves.

• Mon. July 21 - Fri. July 24 (10am - 1pm) - Sign up now
"Earth". Does your child love nature? In this session kids will create a fairy house, make animals and trees out of paper bags, create a faux agate, and paint rocks.

• Mon. July 28 - Fri. August 1 (10am - 1pm)- Sign up now
"Fire". We will not play with fire! But in this session kids will create disappearing ink, chart the stars, make aliens from brown paper bags, and melt wax to make crayons.

• Mon. August 4 - Fri. August 8 (10am - 1pm) - Sign up now
"Water". Does your child love the water? In this session kids will make things that live in the ocean, explore different ways to use watercolor paint and create their own sidewalk chalk paint.

WEEK: $80 (includes supplies). Join us for a 5-day week of summer crafting! Bring your own lunch.

Here are a few of the crafts we will be creating during our camps. Crafts may change without notice.

Each week, kids will explore different media, (painting, construction, paper crafts, beading, needlecrafts, etc.). Each session will include learning a different magic trick, and creating something in the kitchen (such as sidewalk chalk paint, a bouncing ball, glitter slime and crayons).

Camp schedule:
10:00-10:20 group activity (drum circle, group storytelling, juggling, singing, etc.)
10:20-11:00 first craft
11:00-11:10 clean-up
11:10-11:30 game activity (interactive play)
11:30-12:00 lunch
12:00-12:40 second craft
12:40-12:50 clean-up
12:50-1:00 finish up and pack up crafts
