DIY Grapevine Bunny Wreath - Easter Craft

Sometimes the simple things are the most loved. We absolutely adore this grapevine bunny wreath that our new Floral Associate, Nicole, at our Ben Franklin Craft store in Bonney Lake made! This easy DIY project takes less than 15 minutes to put together, but will have a stunning effect on your front door!

Here's what you'll need to make this wall hanging Easter decor piece:
• One Small Grapevine Wreath
• One Medium Grapevine Wreath
• One Roll of Ribbon
• Floral Wire
• Wire Cutters
• Hot Glue & Hot Glue Gun

Let's get started...

Place the wreaths side by side with the front sides facing down on your work surface. Cut a small piece of floral wire about 2" long. Wire the two wreaths together by inserting into the grapevine and looping it over both, then twisting the wire together to secure. Tuck the wire strand into the grapevine.

Cut two pieces of floral wire approximately 12 inches in length. Twist both ends of one piece of wire together and carefully fold the middle into a gentle curve to create your bunny ear. Place a small amount of hot glue on one end of your ribbon and place it where you want to start on the wire.Wrap the ribbon around the entire wire ear. Cut the ribbon and glue the end to secure.

Repeat this process for the second ear.

Cut approximately 18 inches of ribbon and tie into a bow. We used hot glue for these next steps. Glue the bow on the front of the larger wreath. Glue the wire ears to the back of the top (smaller) wreath with glue. Allow to dry completely. Your wreath is finished and ready for your front door or mantle. This would also be a great gift!
